Ingrid A. Feldhaus van Ham
 

I would describe my style as being realistic. I enjoy rendering scenes
which are of interest to me, such as picturesque villages, landscapes
and/or buildings with interesting architectural features.
Occasionally I do portraits.

I have always loved to draw and studied fine art at the academy
in my native Holland, where I studied art history as well as various
techniques and media (water colour, oils, pen & ink, pencil, charcoal).
These pursuits only encouraged me to sketch and draw more. After
coming to the United States in 1972 I taught art at a private school
and later ran a printing company. I also participated with local art shows
as well as took on assignments of clients to draw their home in pen and
ink and sometimes with a wash.
